Three Ways to Use
There are three ways to use Mauli hair oil, no matter your hair type:

1. Perfect and calm dry hair:
Simply add a few drops to the ends of dry hair for instant taming and gloss. Great for curly or fly-away hair, or to perfect an up-do.

2. Use as a restorative, pre-wash treatment:
Massage a few drops of oil into the scalp and hair, leaving for 20 minutes to 2hrs (which is sufficient time for the oil to penetrate and nourish scalp and roots). Then wash as normal. All hair types can benefit from this treatment to restore gloss and manageability.

3. The ultimate night-time repair ritual:
Apply 2-3 drops along sections of brushed, parted hair and massage as if shampooing to cover roots and scalp, working oil through to ends. Once applied (you may wish to cover your pillow a towel), sleep well, wake and wash as normal.
Use twice weekly for the first six weeks (and on holiday, when hair can become particularly parched) and weekly thereafter. Regular scalp treatment helps reduce premature thinning, adds thickness, softness and shine.

Please note: given the all-natural nature of our neem comb, do not soak in water or use in the shower, as this will undermine the structural integrity of the wood.

  • Our hero treatment hair oil combines refined Ayurvedic elixirs to activate follicles at a cellular level helping to reconstruct, protect and deliver intense hydration.

  • Expertly formulated in England, herbs of thickening bhringraj, rejuvenating bhrami and conditioning amla helps in nourishing the scalp and adds thickness and shine to the hair.

  • Hand-blended using traditional Ayurvedic methods, the oils and herbs are separately heated at their various optimal temperatures, then cooled and reheated several times over eight-twelve weeks, to ensure the blends mature and the infuse, at which point soothing Himalayan cedarwood and turmeric leaf are added and further left to settle.

Suitable for all hair types, including colour-treated. Formulated with rare amino acids and rejuvenating actives, our multi-award-winning hair oil nourishes the scalp and adds thickness and shine to lacklustre hair. 100% of our testers agree that their hair feels and looks better after 30 days of use.

Amla/Indian Gooseberry

High in tannin compounds and one of the world's most powerful antioxidants, alma has 20 times more concentrated vitamin C than an orange and infuses hair with nutrition that protects against environmental aggressors, whilst working to strengthen follicles and promote growth. An excellent natural conditioner, alma diminishes split ends, dryness and dandruff.

Brahmi

A regenerative herb that is said to aid concentration, calm the mind and rejuvenate hair. Rich in saponins and tannins, these powerful antioxidants are revered in Ayurveda for their ability to add moisture, thickness and gloss to hair, whilst eliminating dandruff, reducing split ends and slowing signs of premature greying and discolouration.

Moringa

In Sanskrit : Shigru (शिग्रु)

With an impressive oleic acid content of 72%, Moringa contains 47 potent antioxidants, 36 anti-inflammatory compounds, 18 essential amino acids, 7 x the vitamin C of an orange, 3 times the iron of an almond, 4 x the calcium of milk and twice as much vitamin A as found in a carrot. The incredible rejuvenating properties of this light, luxurious oil penetrate deeply into scalp and follicles so depleted minerals and vitamins can repair and revive naturally. When massaged regularly into the scalp and roots, moringa helps bring hair back into balance so it grows stronger, fuller and glossier.

Himalayan Cedarwood

In Sanskrit : Himalayī Devadāru (हिमालयी देवदारु)

A sweet, woody, balsamic aroma, we blend it in Grow Strong for its calming, soothing effect, making it ideal for nighttime application. And being anti-seborrhoeic, it helps regulate sebum production, therefore preventing dry, itchy skin and scalp.

A common Indian phrase is to 'do his/her Champi', which translates to stroking someone's ego and making them feel good. Practised in Ayurveda and even featured in the Kama Sutra, Champi is, in fact, the term used for an Indian head massage. A good champi using superior oils helps relieve mental fatigue, enhance clarity and memory and balance emotion, as well as strengthening hair and scalp. Champi someone you love with Grow Strong and have them Champi you; it feels good. - Bittu Kaushal

The ritual of a weekly head massage is part of life in India and indeed in West London! My mother would give me and each of my six siblings a weekly Indian head massage. I loved how relaxing it felt, the good nights sleep that followed and the quality of my hair when washed. Beyond this, my mother knew that healthier hair depends on a well-conditioned scalp, which would also reduce stress, calm blood pressure and serves as a good antidote to a nagging headache. I now apply Grow Strong on my son and cherish the ritual of nurturing him physically and emotionally through this loving practice - Anita Kaushal
