A traditional Ayurvedic treatment, to attain clear, glowing skin, ‘Ubtans’ or cleansing exfoliants (مقشّر للوجه) are gentle enough for daily use and may also be applied as a face mask (ماسك للوجه) for oily skin to normal skin.
It is composed of raw, nutritive, grains & herbal powders, they act to cleanse, remove toxins & dead skin cells, improve circulation & strengthen the skin. How to use
How to use
To exfoliate: In your hand or small bowl, add 1/2 a scoop of powder & mix with water/oil to create a light paste. Apply to damp skin with your fingers, massage gently using upward circular motions (avoid the delicate area under the eyes); focus on black heads or congestion, rinse off with tepid water.
For use as a mask: (once or twice weekly) add natural yogurt/honey to 1 tbls of powder & apply as a mask and rest for 10 – 20 minutes. Gently remove using warm water, a soft cloth & circular motions.
